Another strip that I couldn’t get posted on time because of computer issues; I had to choose the upload order between this one and the previous monday’s, so at least the latter – my favourite – was up for the longer of the two.
I was going to type a long annotation detailing the precise failings of my computer, and its eventual messiah-like resurrection, but instead I’ll just keep it brief: it done broked.
It’s fixed now – obviously – and there was no chance of losing important work, since I anal-retentively save everything to external drives and back them up. But I had no way of logging into the site and posting comics. Not having a computer, I drew a pair of silly strips by hand – without Robert’s input, shhh! As I’ve said, this is the type of thing I get up to without his civilising influence.
One thing I hadn’t considered in
Y2K preparedness total computer loss scenarios was the disappearance of my Photoshop swatches and brush presets, as well as the general layout being how I like it. I need to get onto that.
